92, of Cambridge, died April 13, peacefully at her home. Born in England. The beloved wife of the late Hermann H. Field; loving mother of Hugh, Alan, and Alison; loving grandmother of Jonathan, Hamo, Cynthia Kate and Eric. Mrs. Field was dedicated to strengthening civil liberties and community. A graduate of the University of Cambridge, England, she worked at Harvard University until her retirement. She co-authored with her husband, Trapped in the Cold War: The Ordeal of an American Family. A celebration of her life will be held Saturday, May 21, 2pm, at Valley Farm, Shirley.
